Live the language

This video is making me miss Beijing like crazy.

Watch it!

I wish that I didn't speak French, so that I could go on a language exchange semester.
very lovely video, lovely fonts, lovely choice of words.   Watch it watch it!

Sous le ciel de Paris

Showing me these pictures is like teasing a hungry fat kid with ice cream.

 Jardin des Tuileries

 gare du Nord.

 Pavillon de Flore
must be a perfect spot for making out, if there are no hobos around.

Place du Tertre

Bonne nuit !

I just want to spoon forever

I sighed of relief as I walked out of the classroom.

After almost 5 hours of not peeing, I can say that it was the longest exam of my life.

beautiful people at Chanel Haute Couture

My Gaspard Ulliel. Hands off Karl!!

Janelle Monae, such a cutie pie :)
I want this pleated dress, it looks perfect on Kirsten!!
Diane Kruger
I like the gold sequin (or coins or something?) paired with the delicious camel. Not too fond of the hairdo though.

Alexa Chung, I wonder if her legs just break when she bangs her knees ......

hey I'm only picking on her to make it fair for all the times I made fun of fat people.

Wes Anderson

Today I discovered that the director of The Royal Tenenbaums also made Fantastic Mister Fox, an original and lovely stop-motion animation, and that he is also the one who wrote Rushmore!  Tell me, how come some people are just so talented?

Today I'm going to watch The Darjeeling Limited (Owen Wilson, Jason Schwatzman, Adrien Brody), I'm so excited!!

here's a prologue to it, called Hotel Chevalier, featuring Natalie Portman (stunning as always....)

I have to say, this short film  is quite depressing, whereas the sequel movie is more of an adventure comedy (in India nonetheless hihihi). Which is good, because you don't want to reverse the order ;)

booooooored to death.

Frederic Beigbeder - L’amour dure trois ans

Merci Jasmin !

Black Swan reminded me of this Swan Lake anime I watched during my childhood, so I searched it up on youtube. It brought back tons of memories!  Have you watched it too? I think I even have the illustrated book somewhere, I was super obsessed at the time!

(sorry for the cascada song, it's the only good quality video I found)

wooow my blog has been so uncoherent/gay lately, I'm sure that when I'll look back in a few months, I'll be wondering what kind of phase was I going through.

Asian Chicks!!

Having an asian girlfriend is really great hihi

plastic bags

Everytime you ask for a plastic bag , I judge you.
And if you happen to be a fatass (which happens to two thirds of the villagers), I judge you even more.  I judge you because you probably drove 10km back and forth to buy some bacon and pepsi, and you can't even hold them in your chubby jello arms back to the car.

get a formspring!!!

okay I wish I could write an interesting post for once, instead of posting random  pictures/youtube videos/quotes/blabla on the latest movies I've watched. I'm updating today to entertain Andrew (surviving in Hyderabad, almost 3 weeks!)

My thoughts usually alternate from "Gosh, I miss him"   to "Sh*t I really need to find a job", and in between I'm just like a dead fish with my mouth open and drooling, doing nothing but browsing job search engines. My brain has developped an automatic filter to help me sort out the job offers....

ANYWAYS, since I don't know what to write you gangstas could ask me some anonymous, immature/random/existential questions on formspring  and I promise I will answer all of them.  If a question gets really immature and personal, I'm just going to assume it's from Huilong hahaha

uughh sleepless

Two psychotic movies in a day + reading a gothic-eery Radcliffe novel make it impossible to sleep.

Black Swan was mind blowing, it lived up to my expectations, and Natalie was, well , flawless :)

It played around a lot of the ballerina stereotypes (bulimic, psychotic ex ballerina mother with failed career, jealousy among the girls, obsessions,...) but the storyline was solidly built and got us trapped until the very end.

The scene with the creepy perverted old guy in the metro was priceless hahaha

UUghhhhhhhhhhhh ......................crazy chick

Thursday, January 13, 2011

Some of the most life-shaping decisions you make in this season will be about walking away from good-enough, in search of can’t-live-without.

for the hatuuuuurs , you're probably going to see this as propaganda anyway

When we were the sick man of Asia, we were called the yellow peril.
When we are billed to be the next superpower, we are called the threat.
When we closed our doors, you smuggled drugs to open markets.
When we embrace free trade, you blame us for taking away your jobs.
When we were falling apart, you marched in your troops and wanted your fair share.
When we tried to put the broken pieces back together again,
free Tibet you screamed, It was an invasion!
When tried communism, you hated us for being communist.
When we embrace capitalism, you hate us for being capitalist.
When we have a billion people, you said we were destroying the planet.
When we tried limiting our numbers, you said we abused human rights.
When we were poor, you thought we were dogs.
When we loan you cash, you blame us for your national debts.
When we build our industries, you call us polluters.
When we sell you goods, you blame us for global warming.
When we buy oil, you call it exploitation and genocide.
When you go to war for oil, you call it liberation.
When we were lost in chaos and rampage, you demanded rules of law.
When we uphold law and order against violence, you call it violating human rights.
When we were silent, you said you wanted us to have free speech.
When we are silent no more, you say we are brainwashed-xenophobes.

Our psychological state allows us to see only what we want/need/feel to see at a particular time. What five words do you see ?

mine are:  leave, suicide, passion, coke, flesh.

...........is this a joke??

Poise, poise, more poise

Effortless perfection.
