anyways the real point of my post was to share this song with you. I started listening to Adele about two years ago, and I've heard many versions of this Bob Dylan's song, but no one can surpass Adele's cover. Beautiful words sang by the most beautiful voice.

I'm so happy she's finally getting the recognition she deserves!  I find it hard to believe that she's only 22, as there is such maturity in her voice.  everything she sings is so heartfelt...

Excuse me but I think I have something in my eye.

Royal Wedding

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm excited for William & Kate's wedding!!!!!
I still remember when the car crash took place in the summer of 97, one year after I arrived in Canada, and they replayed Lady Di's wedding on tv.  The wedding itself was utterly tragic, Charles looked like a depressed horse who couldn't even look at his bride in the eyes.   What a sad, sad marriage.  Oh well, she was the only suitable virgin left in the whole Britain apparently.

I wonder if Kate's dress is going to be over the top, or sweet and modern!

Now don't call me a loser but I have some pictures of wedding dresses saved on my computer :O   mon excuse c'était que je préparais un article pour Anita, mais elle a déjà choisi sa robe...   Bon je dédie cet article à Jenni alors, même si on n'a pas du tout les mêmes goûts vestimentaires :P

Hepburn ballerinas

It's a very girly week on my blog -_-   

I haven't shared much home decor with you guys lately, but that's because whenever I look at home decor inspiration pictures all I see is the flooring and carpets, and that reminds me of work. The last thing I want when I get home is to think about my job!!

These days I've been contemplating buying a pair of leather ballet flats.  But then I found these swedish designed, italian made babies, I decided it'd be them or nothing. 

 Well... except they are 340$...and I can't choose which color.  I'm sure the quality will last me at least 10 years, 340$ amorti sur 10 ans, c'est un bon investissement!  En tout cas je trouve les chaussures ballerines de plus en plus féminines, elles possèdent cette douceur que les escarpins à talons n'ont pas.   (et parce que les talons de 12cm, quand tu tombes sur ta face, ça ne pardonne pas)

et pour compléter cet article complèment futile, je vous présente mon uniforme printemps/été, en supposant que je peux rentrer dans ce jean slim. 

Je trouve que je mérite un 10/10 pour la panoplie de couleurs dans cet article, c'est aussi difficile pour moi de porter de la couleur que pour les ados goth :

Zooey Deschanel, une fille sur laquelles les gars et les autres filles s'entendent!!  Elle rend tout le monde heureux, c'est clair!

Pour faire suite à ton commentaire Jenni, j'ai trouvé une boutique qui vend des robes à la Summer Finn :D   c'est le site http://www.adorevintage.com/ .  Bien que je rêve du retour en force des robes années 50 avec le buste ajusté et la taille ultra marquée, c'est beaucoup trop féminin pour moi!

highlights

Here are the highlights of my very full days/weeks/ and months to come probably.

-Seeing the sunrise through my cracked windshield
-Listening to Gainsbourg's songs over and over and over again as I drive on the highway
-Mentally answering all the questions on virginradio for 1minute 10 questions 1000$ (only idiots seem to call in... then fail miserably)
-Chatting with the moose for brief periods of time when we're not busy
-Walking my dog
-Going to bed

 It's so weird. sometimes I wake up from a dream and have this urge of grabbing a smoke. I open my eyes and see my hands reaching for an invisible cigarette, what the heck.
