1- Our crazy, spoiled, demoniac graphic designer is draining the life out of me, my intern and I have to help each other out in order to remain calm when we receive her unconceivably bad ideas through emails.  She is nuts, I tell you.

2- I'm ready for a couple life, after 3 years of living : one with roommates -  one living alone in creepy lachine - one living with the parents, I want to experience living with the moose, my partner in crime.

3- Maaaaaaaaaaan, I'm craving for a smoked salmon creamcheese bagel.

4- Maaaaaaaaaan, when is it going to be warm enough for open toe sandals?!

5- I just spent my two weeks salary paying back my credit card, sad part is that most of it is FRIGGIN GAS........to drive to work... screw dis shiiiiiet.

7- I'm never going clubbing again.  There's no alcohol strong enough to make me stand the club music.  And did I tell you, I made fun of a kazak-looking man's super tight leopard shirt, my retarded laugh must have sounded like sweet music to his ears because he thought I was diggin his style and started talking creepily to me.  Poker face.  I'm never laughing at anyone's shirt again.

8- Madewell chunky sandals with exquisite colors. Look at them...  wish I could walk in the Madewell store right now, slam down my credit card, and bring these beauties home.

9- I want to watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail.  Hope it's as funny as Princessbride!

10- Yall have been to Kazu??  Tell me if there's a dish that you absolutely love!!  I'm making a list of good places where to take the moose and seduce him from the stomach, make him fall madly in love with this city and never leave.

Je crois qu'il y a quelques années j'aurai pu répondre à cette question assez facilement.   Maintenant que j'ai le crâne bourré de pensées d'adulte, mon premier réflexe serait de demander des précisions à la question (typiquement adulte ça)  : n'importe où, mais est-ce que je pouvais avoir un job instantanément?  n'importe où, en étant riche ou pauvre?         I could easily be the most insecure among my friends and people I know.  If only I could pull myself together and make some right choices for once, that would be a good step towards self confidence.

P-s: Searching up companies addresses on google streetview is the most entertaining thing ever!!

A New Challenge

Hier j'ai reçu un magnifique "cadeau" de ma compagnie, ok pas vraiment un cadeau puisque c'est pour me faire travailler ensuite, mais c'est moi-même qui en ai fait la demande auprès de l'équipe IT.   (oui, comme auprès de Père Noël)

Je suis déterminée à lire tous les tutoriels qui existent sur ce puissant logiciel, devenir une pro de présentation visuelle/publication numérique et avoir les SKILLS nécessaires pour même lancer et ÉDITER mon propre magazine si je le voulais!!

Avant la fin de cet été, j'aimerai pouvoir ajouter INDESIGN sur mon CV  et linkedIn.  Bring it on.

Now before any bridezillas start b*tching at me, this post just reflects my point of view, don't take anything personally ;)   I am excited to attend a wedding this June (1st time I attend a wedding outside of my family) so I'm doing a bit of homework on wedding photography!

Je suis la première à me moquer de l'industrie du mariage en général, toutes ces cérémonies sur-élaborées, les accessoires ultra kitsch-cute, et surtout, surtout ces photos de fiançailles photoshoppées à MORT, au point de détruire l'émotion et la personnalité jusqu'au dernier pixel.  Oui, je pense aux studios de photos si populaires en Chine, où les couples dépensent quelques dizaines de milliers de RMB pour changer 10x de costumes et prendre des poses devant des faux décors.

Mais en tombant parfois sur des photos de cérémonies intimes, honnêtes et proches de la nature, ça me redonne une lueur d'espoir. Peut-être qu'un jour j'arriverai à dissocier cheesiness et photos de mariage.

A lot is going on at my company this week...some major changes.... and I find myself tangled in this complete mess without a captain.   I used to think social interactions were already complicated in high school, but now, compared to a work context everything seems like a breeze.  To be honest I feel totally lost after the departure of this important person, my long days in the basement are more discouraging than ever.  Everyone is telling me about my upcoming new responsibilities and how "doors will be opened" in the future for me, but I don't want to hear about that now, I have just lost my team basically.     I swear I get attached too deeply.

Anyhow, I heard this song from Françoise Hardy (2010) on the radio today and found it lovely.

Yes I just wanted to point that out, because tonight when I searched for "Roman Holiday" on youtube, 99% of the 1st page of results consisted of FKIN NICKI MINAJ MUSIC VIDEOS.  What kind of piece of shit world is this????  

I have inevitable heard a few of her songs on the radio and all this woman does is STUTTER and use the word HO. Maybe I'm just overreacting, but to me there's something wrong when you search up a classic movie on youtube and have 99% of results that come up being music videos from a disgusting pop star.

Anyway, this being said, I love youtube, it's a great platform for amazingly talented people out there.  Check out this auto-tune remix from this lady who speaks CATCHY-LY like crazyyyyy.   Love it.
