After talking over the phone with different agents at Air France, I have bought a soft carrier bag for beibei (yes he will be joining me in this adventure, no one leaves beibei behind!!).  But now I'm really starting to doubt the dimensions...the agents have given me different numbers and after measuring each side I have become paranoid at the idea that my bag is too tall to be put under the cabin seat.  Luckily Air France has already been great on customer service, unlike Air Canada (worst food, large stewardesses who blocked the  aisles and can't help you with the overhead compartment.) (Outside of the plane I don't give a **** about your waist size, but come on, how can you be a stewardess if you can barely pass in the aisle?  What if there's an emergency? Or are you going to be my cushion?  I'm going to hell for this but it simply  makes no sense to me)

I now have to get my dog to familiarize with his new carrier...  he is no longer a sweet apartment pet because he's tasted too much of the freedom the countryside has to offer. It will be a hard task, so wish me luck!

I brought my dog to the vet today for his shots and microchip implant.  NOTHING in my life could have prepared me for this dreadful moment when the vet took out a BIG ASS NEEDLE containing the microchip and stabbed beibei with it.  omfg. and I'm not even scared of needles.

Beibei took it like a champion,two shots one after another.  Or he might secretly hate me for it!

Grace Bonney's book is bursting with inspiration and energy on every page and it makes me see the potential in each old chair\fabric\shelf.  Right now I'm looking for a wooden pallet to make a nook for my dog (he sleeps on my suitcase with a DIY extra large pillow for now).   Reusing + DIY  > recycling!!

Can't wait to have my appartment and unleash my inner creative domestic Goddess.

Beibei goes to the beach! Haha c'est pas une plage, c'est encore mieux, une longue rivière qui rejoint le fleuve St-Laurent. Après un weekend de travail à la campagne, nous sommes de retour à Montréal.  On est tellement bien à l'extérieur, sous le soleil, le vent et les bibittes dans les cheveux, mmm.....

j'ai essayé de donner à ces photos ce style/texture de photos sur pellicule,comme celles de notre enfance.  Elles étaient loin d'être parfaites, souvenez-vous des bordures blanches et délavées, quelques lignes oranges et rouges, problèmes de focus,etc. Mais infiniment charmantes!  

MAUDIT BOULEDOGUE!!!!

Today I had a good reason for being late to class...
my neighbour's ugly, nervous and insecure dog attacked my Beibei!!!   Within 2 seconds, it had beibei pinned down on the grass, bit him on the leg and was about to eat him up!!!  Beibei ran for its life but unfortunately was stopped short in the corner of the garden, and I followed them barefoot, yelling hysterically like a mother whose son is attacked by gangster (...)  my neighbour finally came out of his house, topless nonetheless, and grabbed his dog, punched it in the stomach several times, while Beibei flew into my house and hid itself underneath the table, shaking and bleeding from the leg.  I later found out the neighbour's dog is a female....whereas beibei is a young man.
bitch, much??? 

Now you wonder what kind of dog was my neighbour's. It's a damn french bulldog... il a une face détestable non??  no wonder she feels the need to attack other better looking dogs, pffff   ... next time you see a bulldog, kick it in the face! (calme toi yili, calme toi)
